There have been numerous instances in stock market history of bull markets based on leveraged buyouts. Even the most recent bull market, the one that began in early 2009 in the wake of the financial crisis, was and still is driven by capital flows as larger companies continue to acquire smaller ones. This 8 year rally has been driven by cheap money and a whole bunch of capital restructurings. In today’s Daily Report, I feature a company and its stock that is currently being pursued by other companies. This can be a potential lightening rod for stock prices.
